WELCOME TO WOODLAWN BAPTIST CHURCH

Loving Jesus, Teaching the Word, Serving Others, Reaching the World

Where there is no vision the people perish
- Proverbs 29:18

This is the homepage of Woodlawn Baptist Church. The very word “home” brings to mind many wonderful memories and for most, a place of security, encouragement, and acceptance. All of us need a sense of home in our life—those people that know us, love us, and care about us. Also, everyone needs a home church in which we can not only relate warmly with the people in that fellowship but work together to build and deepen relationships. If you do not have a church home, we invite you to visit our home; that is, our Church home called Woodlawn Baptist Church. It is made up of people who have a sense of security in that we preach and teach the Bible that proclaims the message of eternal life found only in Jesus Christ. There is no security like eternal security. Encouragement is a characteristic that is reflected throughout the Woodlawn family. We seek to encourage children with a variety of ministries from Awana to Upward to Summer Camp ministries to weekly Sunday School and Children’s Church. We encourage our middle school, high school, and college students to be faithful to come to church and be willing to be the Church in the world. We encourage the faith family through the teaching of God’s word and the fulfilling of the Great Commission for all ages. Home is a place of acceptance! We want you to come home not because you know where the church is but that you feel compelled to come because it is home and you belong there. Our prayer is that as you read through the information found on this website there will be a real sense that you have found your home.

In Christ,
