Our passion is to reach our community with the Gospel of Christ. We strive to do this through connecting with people in Gospel conversations on a regular basis. In addition, we regularly conduct outreach events and ministries such as Upward Basketball and Cheerleading, Kids Beach Club, VBS and Middle School Mania. The local ministries of WBC also include ongoing ministries for children and students.
Vermont is a new region of mission emphasis for Woodlawn Baptist Church. We are partnering with two faithful congregations — Williamstown Community Church in Williamstown and New Creation Church in Chelsea — to advance the gospel in one of the most post-Christian areas of the United States.
Our desire is to come alongside these pastors and their churches to strengthen their gospel witness in a region where many historic churches have drifted from biblical truth. Together, we are working to serve local communities through construction projects, service initiatives, and outreach events such as Vacation Bible School and sports camps.
In June 2025, we sent our first team of families from Woodlawn to assist with these efforts, marking the first of many future trips as we continue to build long-term relationships and support faithful ministry in New England.
WBC has adopted an unreached people group in Southeast Asia, the Dhobi Muslims. Our national partners in SE Asia are on the ground each day engaging Dhobi Muslims with the Gospel. We regularly serve alongside our national partners through short term mission trips. Since WBC adopted the Dhobi Muslims in 2013, approximately 60 Muslims have come to faith in Christ. These believers are meeting together in house groups. Our prayer is that these groups develop into healthy, reproducing churches.
